Amy Adams Squire is a transplant from St. Louis, Missouri, to Seattle, Washington. She holds a BA from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. She is a lifelong musician, writer, and artist--primarily in the liturgical tradition. 

    She is 68 years old and lives with her ginger cat Tommy. After 25 years working in publishing and journalism (and some dubious and protracted stints in the brutal world of retail), she retired from her job as a professional dishwasher in 2023. Finding retirement unsatisfying in the long term, she returned to work as a part-time dishwasher in 2025.
